We have just received this from Forest Enterprise Scotland:
It has come to our attention in the last few weeks that parts of the new road to the top car park for Allt a Mhuilinn have failed. This has been a combination of dry weather at point of final surfacing, engineering specification and damage done during the Scottish Six Day Trials before the track had a chance to bed down. All combined have caused serious issues with the road. Unfortunately, this will require a further 2 week road closure to repair. We don’t have specific date for this at the moment but will let you know when we have further information.
We apologise for the inconvenience and can assure you that repair works will NOT be carried out during the Winter climbing season.
