As the great British summer approaches, it’s time to think about warm rock, meeting friends and BBQ’s! So sign up now for the annual early summer BBQ at the CC’s Grange hut in the idyllic surroundings of Borrowdale, Cumbria. You will also have the opportunity to pose for, or take, photos for the new Borrowdale guide – see seperate info on suggested crags and routes.
Borrowdale provides opportunities for climbing at all levels, some crags being within walking distance of the hut, and, for the enthusiastic, the mountain crags of Buttermere, Great Gable and Scafell.
There will be:
- Fire bowls!
- Gazebos!
- Beer!
- Bread, potatoes and salad provided!
And most of all, an opportunity to share a yarn about your recent exploits and future plans with CC/FRCC members around the warmth of the campfire!
