We are sorry to announce the death of John Chadwick who died yesterday (Wednesday 18th February) as a result of an accident on Helvellyn. John had been a member of the Club for thirty years and had contributed to its activities through being a committee member and also membership Secretary.
John’s funeral will be taking place at Carlisle Crematorium on Monday, March 2nd at 2. 20p.m. The funeral directors have set up a Just Giving page for donations to the Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team as flowers will be from family only. Link to the Just Giving page …
