New Hut Maintenance System Discussion about the possible purchase of a hut in the Lake District has brought to the fore a lot of concerns from members about the current state of our existing huts. It is accepted that, as well as aspiring to purchase a new hut, we also need to improve hut maintenance. Money is not an issue and it is fair to say that the budget allocated to maintenance each year is never used up or in any way limited by the Committee. Hewertson has volunteered to run this system for us. Once received
the information will put into a database through which the relevant
custodian or huts sub-committee person will be informed. Once the
issue is dealt with it will crossed off the list of outstanding
issues. |
