The Catbells Festival of Light for Community Action Nepal
On Saturday 23rd April Lakeland Mountain Guides will host The Catbells Festival of Light for Community Action Nepal.
Keen to get the Nepal Earthquake back in people’s minds One Year On, they’re going for something even more extravagant than Blencathra by Moonlight for Community Action Nepal, which they hosted in June 2015 and raised no less than £5k.
The aim of this evening is to light up the spine of Catbells with individuals at set distances apart, creating an awesome string of head torches. Photographers will wait in strategic locations ready to snap the shot, which will subsequently be sold for the charity. Once this shot has been taken, those that wish to summit Catbells can, and a second photo will be taken of this congregation. Find out more …
