Sadly I have to advise you that Richard McElligott succumbed to a brain tumour on Saturday 19th November. He had only been in New Zealand for a few years so had been unable to do more than scratch the surface of what that wonderful country had to offer such an enthusiastic mountaineer.
We offer our condolences to his family and friends.
