I am sorry to tell you that Philippa (Phil) Watson died last week, after a short battle with cancer. Phil was at Ynys and the Count House this summer.
We offer our sympathy to family and friends.

Phil attended many Maintenance meets along with her brother who was not a member, She also re- vamped and cleaned up all the Photos in Ynys.
I always had great fun when Phil was around, she was so whacky but so talented and she loved the club.
The last time I saw her was at the Ynys BBQ, we’ll always remember her blue pink hair and infectious smile and off the wall conversation.
So sad.
To echo the words of Keith, a very sad tragedy…What I remember most about Phil is her absolute enthusiasm for the club and the climbing..In late May a huge walk down to Wicca to try a couple of projects, the sea mist circling around, pure magic and a great companion!..The last meeting at the North Inn Pendeen, quizzing everyone for a recommendation for steady E1.. settling on Excelsior and really enjoying it!
What can we say, other than never waste a day….
