Mini Bouldering and Car Park, Count House

Mini bouldering wall?

Mini bouldering wall?

For those of you unsure if you could get up the nearby Bosigran (Commando) Ridge, Bob Watson has embraced his inner Laurence Llewellen Bonnington and recreated it in the hut carpark for you to practice on. However, rather like Spinal Tap’s Stonehenge, something seems to have gone awry with the scaling…..

Seriously folks, if you are intending to visit in the next few days please be aware machinery is working in the carpark and camping areas. Works should be completed well before Easter – filling/levelling the camping area and removing the high spots from the carpark/access road. The latter is probably welcome news for the sports car drivers amongst us – more than one member has come to grief, and one member more than once! We’re intending to road test some of the recent improvements over Easter at the club meet – the hut is fully functional and now hosts 36 beds for you to chose from, so come and join us.
