We have just heard the sad news that Mike Teague has passed away. He was living in Malaysia with his partner Ms Guen Loh. We offer our sympathy to Guen and his family and friends.

Such a sad loss. I spent almost two decades climbing with Teagie. Our adventures took us climbing to Europe (winter & summer), Scotland, Wales and many crags across England. Because of location, most of our climbing was done at Swanage. During the late ’80s & early 90s, we often climbed there 2 or 3 times a week.
Mike was a great companion and friend. He was equally good company on a rope, on a long drive back from Chamonix or Ft William, over a beer or sat in the Count House.
He has gone far too soon…………..
