Work was sustained by hot drinks and rather lovely cake brought along by Charlie & Emma. After a break for lunch the weather dried up and work continued apace, more tea & more cake. Hence the need for plenty of hard work chopping, sawing log stacking and stoking the fire. Once the area was cleared and the fire successfully dampened down we retired to the hut to prepare for supper where the wine and conversation flowed. Many thanks to Claire Wilson, John & Cath Graveling, Richard Ellis, Alan Smith, Rob & Linda Rawlinson, Dave Prior, Roger Withers and Fiona & Keith Sanders and apologies for any names I may have overlooked. Once again hardy CC stalwarts arrived on a cool & wet Saturday morning to clear the undergrowth to the north of the car park.
