Joint CC and LSCC Meet at the Downes Hut
Date: Friday 28th April 2017 to Sunday 30th April 2017Venue: Downes, Froggatt, Peak District
The meet is based at RO Downes Hut Froggatt being ideally positioned for climbs on the Gritstone Edges and Limestone Dales. Walking and mountain biking or caving can be enjoyed by some.Im not expecting glorious sunshine but we may be lucky and have dry weather. I’m going to cook a Haggis Dinner Sunday night. I plan to make this affordable at approx £5 per person. This will include a payment towards communal milk. Green, Blue and Soya should cover most bases. Im happy to cater to all diets if you let me know what you can eat.If any local CC members would like to call in and be social that would be nice, come out climbing and stay for the meal, please, let me numbers for food.I plan to send a guest list out a couple of weeks before the meet and hopefully you can team up / car share to reduce the number of vehicles in the car park. Please let me know if you can make it and I’ll reserve you a bed. Come with your climbing parter or mix in once you’re here.Please let me know if you plan to camp / van it PLEASE NOTE Men and women equally welcome at the meet
