Autumn New Members' Meet 2017, Ynys Etws (Llanberis Pass)
Date: Friday 22nd September 2017 to Sunday 24th September 2017Venue: Ynys Ettws, Llanberis, North Wales
This is an opportunity for people who have recently joined the CC to come along and meet each other. We will be holding the meet at Ynys Ettws in the heart of the Llanberis Pass, with opportunities for making the most of the end of the summer weather. There is a huge range of climbing to suit all tastes, abilities and weather conditions, from the cliffs of the Pass, to Cloggy, Gogarth, Tremadoc, slate, and even limestone sport. We will help people pair up with suitable partners, and will probably provide some communal food on Saturday. These meets are always huge fun, and even if the weather should be sub-optimal (thats weasel words for 'rubbish') we will have a good time - being wales there are wet weather options including the infamous "snakes and ladders and tunnels" in the llanberis slate quarries (or The Beacon climbing centre or walking/scrambling)
