Annual BMC Climbing festival. Sun , Sea, Seals, Climbing, Evening Entertainment (see extended details) Book your own tickets, which include accomodation (camping plus a few places available in The Barn) and ferry tickets, via the BMC shop (not yet available at the time of writing [24/11/2016] but will be in about a week or so) BOOK TICKET VIA BMC NOT MEET CO_ORDINATOR. the prices are £137 per week camping and ferry, £182 per week barn and ferry. Its likely quite a few CC folks will go, so lets get together while we're there, perhaps have a barbeque one night, Gareth is happy to co-ordinate and help any unpartnered folk find people to climb with. Gareth, is heavily involved with organising this event and knows Lundy like the back of his hand, he says that it has been running the last few years but this year will be a bit extra special.

Visiting the Schwarzwald/SW Germany region next Autumn. Iain Peters is now living in Freiburg and in the process of joining his local chapter of the DAV and says he " has spent some time visiting if not climbing on the many superb gneiss, granite and sandstone crags in the beautiful Black Forest on his doorstep. Apart from the local crags, the gneiss of Baden-Baden, the Pfalz sandstone and the Vosges are within relatively easy reach. The DAV has a whole series of excellent huts throughout the region. Apart from the climbing, the walking and mountain biking is world class, the local beer and wine superb and cheap." Extended details now updated with the proposed accomodation
