Sun-kissed
slabs, lofty granite spires, deep sunless zawns, and huge brooding precipices:
Lundy has them all, crammed into its seven miles of coastline. Seven miles which
contain a hundred times that number of climbs. They are all here, Moderates to
E7s, described in 280 pages complemented by 33 diagrams & maps and 16 action
photos.
Lundy has nationally famous climbs such as The Devil's Slide, 130
metres of slab which goes at Hard Severe, and the photogenic Diamond Solitaire
(VS). You can also set your sights on adventure with Overlord (E1), superb crack-climbing
with Controlled Burning (E3), or commitment with Araucaria (E6).
See the
Meets page for information about
the club's annual Lundy week - a fantastic mix of good accommodation,
great company in a remote and tranquil environment, and some of the most
adventurous climbing the UK has to offer!
