Dennis Bateman

This is just to let you know the sad news that Dennis died on Thursday 11th September. He died peacefully at the grand age of 94.

For any of you who wish to attend, there is a cremation at Treswithian Downs Crematorium on Monday 22nd September at 12 noon. Friends are invited but we think it is to be a quiet, low-key affair.

We are in France just now and sadly we shall not be back in time to go ourselves. We saw Dennis recently when he had a short stay in hospital. He was frail and very tired but still his modest yet charming self.
