Pippa de Mengel informs us that Dee de Mengel died on September 14th. He had had a long tussle with lymphoma, but managed to climb a few mountains and sail around the world with Pippa in his small yacht, ‘ Sula ‘.
He created a blog… which some of your members may have seen. Deryck Ball was a great friend and is now one of your members. He gave a very moving address at Dee’s funeral and would, I’m sure, be happy to be contacted and fill you in with more details.
