The Count House
Hut operational once again at capacity of 37 bed spaces. New kissing gate installed at the head of the main drive replacing the rather constricted pedestrian entrance gate (this will be re-used on site in another place if possible). In Room 4 (bunk room over Biven Room) new floor tiles taken up, bunks and mattresses taken out. Layer of sound absorbing material laid down, floating deck and floor tiles re-laid and bunks and mattresses put back. In small upstairs bedroom (former Room 5) pipework for hot and cold water feed for toilet, hand basin and shower has been installed, shower tray installed, toilet installed. Wall panels, hand basin and shower unit on site to be fitted in next couple of weeks. New toilet and new (non-dripping) taps installed in existing upstairs toilet.
Thanks due to James Mann, Gareth Palmer and Dave Viggers for several days effort.
Rob Seymour – Custodian
Sounds great! I haven’t been for a year or two, but hope to visit again soon. Many thanks to all those whose efforts have helped.
