Range West briefing dates at Castlemartin Camp
The Range West briefing dates for climbers in 2013 are: 29th March, 25th May and 27th July at 09.00 hours at Castlemartin Camp SA71 5EB. Climbers now have 12 month access to Range West with restrictions marked by red pots as in Range East.
Range Military Exercises
The next large scale military exercise kicks off on the 3rd June and will run until 2nd August 2013. Access will be extremely affected from Monday mornings to Friday evenings across the whole Range throughout this time. There will be access at weekends and during the week of 1st July when preparation work takes place for the next phase of the exercise. There will be no live firing from 2nd August until 2nd September 2013 – access is available across the Range and into Range West for briefed visitors.
