New Members Meet - Ynys Ettws
Date: Friday 30th September 2016 to Sunday 2nd October 2016Venue: Ynys Ettws, Llanberis, North Wales
After a successful new members meet this year, myself and Sharon have been coerced (with the aid of prosecco) into hosting the new members meet for 2016. It is an ideal opportunity to find out more about the Climbers Club, meet new people and just generally have fun (this is a rule to be strictly adhered to). The meet will be based in the Ynys hut in North Wales in the picturesque location of the Llanberis Pass. There is climbing as far as the eye can see and in the event of poor weather in the pass, there are other options within a short drive, as they say, the sun always shines on Tremadoc/Gogarth.
Turn up on Friday, get to know your fellow members, have a look at the choices of venue ready for a top day out on Saturday.
On Saturday evening, our thoughts are for a communal meal where everyone contributes. This turned out exceptionally well this year with Chilli con carne, rice, salad and all the trimmings, plus a lovely dessert, all accompanied with a glass or two of wine.
Sunday, get out climbing for another top day, hopefully in the Sun.
