Borrowdale Rocks Grange The Old Schoolhouse
Date: Friday 13th May 2016 to Sunday 15th May 2016Venue: Grange, Borrowdale, Cumbria, Lake District
Timed to coincide with both the BMC festival of climbing which is being based in Borrowdale and (hopefully) the launch of the latest edition of the FRCC Borrowdale guide. The climbing in the valley has been completely re-appraised and many previously overlooked gems have been re-discovered at all grades while other routes have been reclaimed by vegetation and consigned to the history books. With some of the guidebook team members on hand you can be sure to find out which crags and routes fit the former category and which ones to be avoided.
Both days or either day – the choice is yours. Can’t make the full weeken, don’t worry day visitors will be very welcome. All hut beds and camping places will be reserved for the meet from the evening of Friday 12th May.
