The Northern Rock Long Weekender
Date: Thursday 11th June 2015 to Tuesday 16th June 2015Venue: Riasg, Roy Bridge, Central Highlands, Scotland
The aim of this meet is to get on the classic high mountain crags of the Central Highlands (my preference is for The Ben if possible) where there is a wealth of quality climbing at all grades. There are loads of other options and we can make decisions about venues etc. depending on conditions. Given the right weather I envisage the hut as a base camp. Ideally I would like to bivvy below the crags for part of the time. Obviously this meet is absolutely dependent on the weather and we will all be weather watching in the days leading up to the meet. You can come for part of or the entire meet, families welcome (with a family room booking for the hut), no climbing partner? no problem! Member’s guests and new members are particularly welcome.
Whilst based at Riasg it s hope to include a bivvy high camp - weather permitting!
