Joint Not so Trad/CC Meet - Portland
Date: Friday 6th March 2015 to Sunday 8th March 2015Venue: Portland Youth Hostel
Joint meet with Not So Trad, a climbing club for LGBT people and their friends, some of whose members are also CC members (www.notsotrad.org)
Early season sport-climbing (trad and some sport at Swanage an hour away). Participants are encouraged to climb with members of the other club.
Portland Youth Hostel has been booked on an exclusive basis for Friday and Saturday night (£20 pp for two nights, payable less deposit - see below - on the meet to the co-ordinator). Breakfast is available if booked in advance @£5 (encouraged as the YH kitchen is none too big for c30 people to do their own)
Group meal at local restaurant nearby will be arranged for Saturday evening.
Deposit of £10 pp secures place, non-returnable if cancellation is made after 5/1/2015 and the meet is not full. As this is a joint meet, online booking is not possible. Please contact co-ordinator for details of how to pay, saying whether you wish to book breakfast and whether you want to join the group meal out.
Participants wishing to extend the meet by arriving on Thursday or staying over on Sunday can book directly with the YHA at an agreed special rate of £10 pp pn (the agreement to this by YHA is noted on the exclusive hire booking form for the weekend).
