Joint Alpine Meet - Cogne Gran Paradiso
Date: Saturday 19th July 2014 to Saturday 9th August 2014Venue: Cogne, Italy
A new venue, the meet will be based at either the Lilaz or Valnonetey camp site at the head of the Cogne valley on the northern side of the Gran Paradiso - see article by Martin Gillie in The Alpine Journal 2010/11 p143. “Alpine Climbing in The Mountains of Cogneâ€. In addition to walking, Alpine, trad rock & sports climbing in the Gran Paradiso, the southern side of the M Blanc massif and the west & southern side of the Valais Alps are within easy commuting distance.
