Not long now until the AGM/Dinner, the first to be held in Bristol, and with John Cleare the after dinner speaker. Also first UK showings of two American films – the first ascent of Gasherbrum I and the third ascent of Salathe Wall. The Holiday Inn are offering us a discounted room rate, but this deal ends on the last day of February, so don’t leave it too late to book. If the weather is bad, The Climbing Academy are offering free bouldering all weekend to CC members, on production of your membership card. Also, the local climbing wall Undercover Rock are offering climbing at off-peak rates to CC members from 5pm Friday 13th, and all weekend. There is a climbing festival being held there on Saturday 14th, see their website for details.
